Reflection

I am so beyond greatful for the amazing men and women that are or have fought for our country to be free. I for one don't always think of all the many blessings I have such as living in a free country and being able to worship however and whereever I please. At church yesterday in many of the prayers through the meeting they mentioned how greatful they were to be able to come to this building and worship. I had never thought about how amazing that truly is.
I find it sad how much I just expect to have but never think of how truly blessed and lucky I am  to have those things.
So today I want to say Thank You to all the U.S. Soliders that put their lives on hold and fight for our freedom and safety. I will forever be in your debt.

Projects 1, 2, 3..... and 40

Ok so i have this problem where i start about 40 different projects all at once......they do get finished but it just takes long then if i just sat down and finished one then moved one. and you know that would be the logical thing to do BUT i get bored/frustrated with a project if i spend to much time on it and that is why i jump from project to project. so i will show you all that i have been up to lately....all of my 40 million projects that is ahah.
we will start with my little side business..... i love baby clothes and i love babies and since i won't be shopping nor having a little tyke anytime soon. i decided i would make plain onsies unique and cute....and so that is what i do and i LOVE it! I have an etsy account that is being revamp and when it is finished i will inform all. i also made a cute dress for a little girl it's totally easy and is so cute i just love it.

i have also been making these flowers....totally simple made out of egg cartons. I found this old milk jar at the antique mall in main street....yes i am downtown a lot dont be jealous. I wanted to put flowers in it BUT i didn't want to be constantly changing them out since they die and what not. soo this was my solution. some turned out better then others but i just got over it and didn't sweat the ugly ones. 

ok i am in LOVE with how these boards turned out! i was so excited with the end results. and i actually finished these in a couple of hours and they were totally worth it.

and lets just give a moment to how good my cursive L turned out..i was nervous free handing this bad boy.

and you would think im done but that is a negative..... 

I made this clutch with my lovely friend out of suit coat arm--- it was fun and the company was fab!

this is a project in process i need to paint the wood still but shouldn't take too long.

my new sewing obsession is little girl bows---flowers and what not. LOVE THEM!!! lucky me i babysit two stinkin cute little girls 

oooh geeze this project mess whatever you want to call it....is the frustrating one. this use to be a shirt that i got from someone and it was big for me sooooo i decided i would turn it into a cardigan with a ruffle on both sides.........but lets just say i didn't take into account how hard it is to stitch with STRETCHY fabric....not a fan folks

i also have a skirt i need to finish...and im sure i'll have another project soon...because it's summer and i love projects in between work days they get my mind off things and help me relax nothing better then that!

yes i know i have been neglecting this little blog of mine....let me inform you of my guilty pleasures that take priority over writing blog post of my own. well first of all my bestie friend come home a far too short of time and i took as much of her time as possible. i dragged her downtown to just browse and take pictures...and we found the BEST place ever and you would never know where we even were it was fabulous. and we got fabulous pictures by this abandoned house that we both decided we wanted. 

and do you know what makes it even better????? across from this house is a amazing shed! that looks far better in pictures then in real life...crazy when that happens ahah.

who else wants this girls shorts...because i sure do ahah.

we then headed to our favorite store the storm cellar seriously the best store-----minus some of the ridic prices but it is always fun to even just browse. the set up is fantastic i just love it!

and on our way to the car we spotted  perfect wine bottles....and some how the bottles ended up in our bags;) 

side note---S freaked me out and made me super nervous to drive after telling me that it would be a horrible thing if I got pulled over with the bottles in my car....that thought hadn't even crossed my mind until she said something ahaha. 

I love when friends come to visit it seriously is the best...and don't worry we did plenty of projects when she was in town...those will be in later posts!

ooooh dreamy men

Ahhh my blogging has gone down the pooper what is up with that? well i will tell you what is up i have been busy babysitting, studying, and today i got a sunburn...the BEST sunburn of my life. seriously this weather has been SICK like cold and rainy and COLD and terrible. so today it wasn't even that warm but the sun was out and i said to myself i will enjoy this lovely thing while it lasts which wont be long. so i got myself a blanket and a good romantic book and folks i soaked up some good vitamin D. and now i have a lovely pinkish glow not bad...just the perfect sunburn and yes there is such a thing. i did do other things today to like go to salvation army and look at hideous shirts and ask myself if i can make it cute........so far no such luck they are bad folks which is sooo annoying. i did get picture frames for no reason and it felt good. and i walked around downtown like a tourist peeking in shops and loving the sun. as odd as it is i really enjoy shopping and going places by myself dont get my wrong i LOVE company BUT i also enjoy just doing my thing its kinda dreamy. i pretended today i was meeting a hot man that was my future husband and i was just browsing around while i waited for mister hottie tottie (we had fresh sour dough bread from Wheatberries and an raspberry Italian soda.) someday that man will be real and im hoping he has similar resemblances to these yummy men.  

mmmmmm i want Michael B Jordan sooo bad!!!!! he is the number 1 reason i am no addicted to Friday Night Lights....and he is so HOT

yes i know these two men are COMPLETELY opposite i'll just be content with either ahah. Matt Barr has extremely amazing dreamy eyes and i even enjoy his hair...and he has a smokin hot body like SUPER nice but i thought i would be nice and not tempted you with my man ;)
