Happy Birthday my love!

it was my favorite persons birthday on thursday! i babysat my niece and nephew who of course adore him so they had to contribute to his present by drawing angry tigers and caterpillars. we had just finished wrapping his present when he surprised us oddly with is presence (usually on your own birthday its the other way around) we then played until he got in trouble for not being at work hahaha. i think i'm the happiest person that he was born because if he wasn't it would be a terribly sad day without my other half.

last night i felt gloriously important even though i wasn't i just had a pass that important people get so that you can go anywhere for jazz fest. I mean anywhere i was up in the artist business and eating delicious foods and drinking sparkling water that was fit for a queen. ok i'm slightly exaggerating i did get to eat delicious food and drink water though annnnnnd i was in touching distance of the artist but i never got in their business. since i'm dating such a high roller (exaggerating again his mom is the big shot in jazz fest) we got passes to the sky box which is awesome we had comfy chairs and got to relax and drink beverages and eat huckleberry cheesecake with out anyone getting mad it was glorious. we also were dressed all fancy like it was a lot of fun and i don't even like jazz.

Presidents day weekend

My Presidents day weekend consisted of ridiculous amounts of unhealthy food (new love grilled cheese with a fried egg...sounds repulsive but super delicious) i ate so many chicken wings it was sickening but they were so delicious and i normally hate chicken wings. our group of 4 headed up on friday to stay the night at the Patten abode and wake up early to go to the temple for baptisms....at 8:30 AM. so you might question why so early and you know we did the same thing when we woke up hahaha but we figured we would get done and have plenty of time to browse around spokompton and that we did. we hit up costco where we ate unhealthy pizza slices and hot dogs and got a huge bag of chicken wings and then we headed over to this russian store that was in such a sketch part of spokane but we lived.....and brought home the best cake i have EVER had seriously delicious it wasn't super sweet but it was so moist ahhh and had the best flavor i was in heaven. And lastly you can't have a presidents day unless you try something new......well maybe you can BUT it was the day i wore red lipstick for the first time and the verdict is still out (my mom and andrew are not a fan.....as for everyone at work and liz it was a success)

soooo this boy of mine is full of surprises.....yesterday he gave me my valentines present that he hadn't forgotten it just hadn't come in the mail hahaha. he slyly put it in between cushions on the couch so that when we were reading scriptures together i would notice it but i was clueless hahaha. he got me the second season of modern family as well as my favorite part he wrote down 10 things he loved about me....he is a keeper:) i am such a lucky girl to have him in my life

i have always not been a fan of valentines day mainly because i feel that flowers are a waste of money and chocolate is gross. so its never been my cup of tea. but andrew made me rethink my hatred. we had a very low key valentines and it was amazing. i put together a cheesy love letter telling our whole story and cut it up into a puzzle pieces that he had to put together. he is a huge fan of puzzles and i am a huge fan of him so it was perfect:)  he also got me something but he forgot it hahahaha i love him so much and i love seeing him everyday:) 

Last night the little boy inside of me came out....we played bomberman with our favorite couple friends liz and austin. which sound innocent and all but we were on opposite teams of our lovers so liz and andrew were on a team and austin and i and things got a little competitive. andrew definitely got in the dog house for killing me non stop and never letting me live. it was terribly ridiculous how competitive i can really be. andrew hurried and switched the activities before i really started to hate him and we ended the night with the goofy movie. i will miss these couples nights when we all move to different areas:(

i adore this sweet little girl. she has such a darling personality i love that she finds it so fun to watch me put make up on and have me paint her nails she is a true girl!

they are so much fun! I definitely enjoy their funny personalities 

last night i realized one of two things breakfast for dinner isnt half as bad as i liked to think and that i am so not a night person. andrew got whisked away around dinner time to take ladders to the stake center for projectors for the dance that he was going to make me go to....and ok its not that i dont like dances its that i dont like dances that are formal but i was going to be a good sport and go so while he was doing his ladder duties i was getting ready....until he called me and said he was just going to cut his hair tonight and not go to the dance which was a happy moment needless to say. so we headed to his house where his dad and i turned into little breakfast baker bees. i made french toast while his dad made eggs and bacon and it was delicious. after dinner we played a game on the wii and after winning we rewarded ourselves with gogurts (andrews all about the reward system that is always involved with food....he knows my weakness) and then we watched the devil wears prada which i semi forgot had so many girls getting dressed parts in it....but we survived!

i decided i better blog about the engagement photos i took or i would forget about it and it would be months before i got around to it.  i wish the weather wasn't so dreary but i got a few that i really liked. it was actually a lot of fun shooting these two lots of jokes and laughter were involved.

i promise this is my last post about liz's birthday/early birthday hahaha. sunday was her real birthday and that was the glorious day of the superbowl the first year where i was actually with someone who cared about a certain team winning....like really cared and got slightly grumpy after the lose. andrew and i headed to church with our parentals because a pipe burst in the tute so our church was moved to 1pm and hello priorities got to watch the football game;) and so that is where we got roped into teaching the tiny sunbeams. and lets just say they weren't a ray of sunshine thats for sure. this little girl was bawling for her mom while this little boy angrily kept telling me he was going to turn into darth vador and kill everyone here but no worries it was just for pretend and then we had my nephew who hates everything about sunbeams and has to go tell my mom play by play actions of darth vador killer kid.....so it was interesting to say the least we did get a few jesus references and lots of singing off key to get them to focus on other thing then darth vador (jesus topic got shot down multiple times with darth vador killing references) after church we headed to the main squeezes house where we walked his pooch and sang songs about birds in the trees. then we watched a very exciting game ok he watched while i talked to his mom for hours (i did see the half time show and the ending) after the game we headed to liz's where we ate crepes and played bomber man on her nintendo 64 it was pretty entertaining to say the least and a great sunday!

saturday night was a fun night mmmmm weekends they seem to get better and better. as i said before it was my dear friends early birthday so clearly i have to some how get something exciting out of it;) i smoothly convinced her that she should ask her man friend if we could use his moms ridiculous amounts of crafts to make something specatular and that we did. we made glass pendants and oooookkkk i tried super hard to be all girly and make it cute but i wasnt feeling the primary colored glass and blobs of neon colored beads soooo i resorted to my inner holiday self and got this...

yep i made dracula while my main squeeze went all spiritual missionary man like and did his mission and years he served......all i have to say is good thing Liz is there or i would look really weird since Austin made this fancy dragonfly while Liz made a birthday monster....... and that is why we are friends;) 

So i'm alive and guys i actually feel better.....and what i mean by better is that i can stand with out my head feeling like a giant hammer just hit it (yay for congestion) so to celebrate I will be roaming the streets of the lil town with my dear one day early birthday girl friend where we will grace the presence of breakfast club goers and eat to our hearts content because that's what you do when its the day before your birthday. today is one of those days where i just want to sit in bed and do absolutely nothing. I have this beautiful cold that has taken over my life which is semi rude. its the kind of cold that makes your body ache and sneeze like its the cool thing to do and guys dont fall for it sneezing gets way old oooh and the watering eyes dont even get me started on those guys. luckily my lover pants will lay with me and watch endless amounts of chick flicks while i blow my nose in his ear (yes its romantic.) so all you healthy nose blowless people enjoy friday for me and please dont tell me too much about it okkkk fine i want to hear all your details and make it good.

I have the best boyfriend...there I said it and boy its true! He will do anything and everything and think its totally rad now i know this could totally be just the dating stage but i will take it. last night we painted and it was way entertaining. there was definitely humming, whistling, and flinging of paint going on. and at the end we got this lovely peach
