i love summer time! its finally warm outside now and my morning runs aren't nippy. i also love our garden when we have fruit coming on. right now it's strawberries and this is the first year they taste yummy. i usually dislike homegrown strawberries because they have a funky grainy taste so i usually skip but i tried this years berries and holy goodness! my mom put me in charge of picking and i definitely ate a lot more then got in the bucket. but we have them coming out of our ears so its ok that i munch on them. and since we have so many my mom decided it was a sign to make a strawberry pie my dad and i of course didn't disagree with such an idea;)
