weddings!

i have decided that weddings are my favorite. i love the atmospheres there with all the happy people there to celebrate someone they love on their joy and happiness of finding the one;) also the food is a good plus!

so only Austin and i got the memo to open our eyes BUT Liz still looks gorgeous. she made such a beautiful bride.

It was such a great evening! We of course stayed longer than we planned but it happens when you are just chatting away with dear friends. And the constant thought of "we're next" kept popping in out of my head I'm so excited :D

Its here again the lovely moving business. I can't believe my summer in provoland is already over. I have had the time of my life and have grown so much from this experience. I made amazing friends that have made this time I had in provoland perfect. I also had amazing roomies that I love to pieces there is something about target runs that brings girls together;) Also late night pillow talk about boys is always fun! Moving here was the best decision I have ever made in my life. Now I am heading into a whole new chapter in my life one that at times is frightening but for the most part super exciting :D its still at times hard for my head to wrap around the idea that I will be married in 23 days (say whaaaaaaaa!) I am however marrying the most patient amazing guys there is (bridzilla has come out a few times;) I love that man more than anything in the world. Provoland you were good to me now its off to home than rexburg....we'll see how well that place treats me. 

I have been a huge slacker and oddly enough i think i have started every blog post like that hahah. I have 7 more days in provoland then I will head back home to finish up all the wedding stuff! I am getting really excited for everything. I can't wait to see my cute family and to finally get to see my brother after 2 years! August will definitely be my favorite month:)

Also its official my niece is the bestest! I love that girl to piece she is hilarious as well as her funny brother. They are such goofs I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM!!!!!!!

mommas day

I am so truly blessed to have such an amazing mom in my life. She has always been there for me as a support in all my decisions. she is also the person that pushes me the most to strive for my dreams and to never settle for less. I absolutely love the sweet spirit that she has and goodness my momma is the best example to me about finding good in everyone! I have never heard her talk ill of another and i admire that. she is the most hard working person i know who will do anything for anyone. I definitely got blessed to have her as my momma. I love her to pieces and hope to be just as amazing of a wife and mother.

Lets talk gross

i have been spending endless amounts of time looking at gynecologists profiles..i know what? and question.... how do you find someone that you are cool with violating you and is if violating if you sign up for it? yikes im not looking forward to this road i have to travel down. and this is when i rethink marriage (kidding Andrew love you) and honestly i dont know why im looking at their profiles because im unsure if i should be judging them on how they look (would an unattractive person make me feel better about myself while they do their damage?) or their age (would a grandma make me feel calm and comfortable? probably not) I'm thinking about just pulling  a number out of hat...i mean that's normal right?

on thursday the 3rd i headed to the burg to surprise my lover pants...but really he did the surprising. when i got there i headed right over to his place where he wasnt there....sad day i know so i headed back to my car to wait for his call. I played two games of fruit ninja and then he called me back all the while completely clueless i was there. i headed over while i was still on the phone with him and rang the doorbell and his roommate answered and let me in and went to go get him. the look on his face was priceless i absolutely loved the smile he got when he saw me. he hurried and looked outside to check the weather and i had no clue why and he ran to his room and came back with a backpack and we were on our way...to a place i had never been to. we drove out to the country and there ended up at my favorite type of  place...grain silos. and there we climbed to the very top of one (very illegal i know!) and there we wrapped ourselves up in a blanket and he gave me index cards attached with a bow (so cute) of all the dates and things that had happened to us it was so dang cute. on one of the cards it told me to call his phone (but i had forgotten to bring my phone with me so he had to call his own phone haha) and his voicemail said that he had a special present for me and that he hoped i like it ( i was completely clueless until this point that he was going to propose to me which is really silly now that i think of it) and no he didnt give me a ring he gave me brand new scriptures with my married name on it;) then after that i read the next card that said "and this is when you say YES!!" and he had me stand up in the freezing wind and he knelt down on one knee and asked me to spend eternity with him. it was the sweetest most romantic proposal ever and i was in tears i was so happy. He is such an amazing man and i can't wait to marry him in the Spokane Temple for time and all eternity:D

I am so behind on this! I will start with first things first I am no longer in the lovely land of idaho. It has been such a wonderful change i absolutely love it! I get to see one of my good friends everyday now AND i have the best roommate ever! everything is falling into place i am truly blessed:)

The ever changing...

Yesterday was my very last day babysitting the 4 little kiddos i usually babysit separately but both mommas were going out of town. it was a lot of fun...very noisy but fun. we played post office which means i get to color a lot of pictures in a coloring book (if you ever want to feel good about your coloring skills i recommend this)

after post office we some how ended up playing police station or something like that where we were gods and goddess trapped in god jail----yeah it was interesting hahaha. after that i headed home for a couple of hours before i returned later that night to babysit one last time. and that is where we made forts for sleeping!

it was really entertaining to try and get all the blankets to stay up im thinking they weren't going to last long under it. it was a very sad goodbye one with three little girls crying and myself trying not too. i will miss them dearly they are all such fun slightly crazy and wild but you know what that's the best way to have it;) 

so blogging world went up and changed on my i guess thats what i get for not blogging in awhile..darn karma. my life has been busy so we will play a little catch up---i move next wednesday (yay!) to the lovely land of provo number one question i get asked is am i nervous....which im not and every time i get asked i try and summon all the nervousness in my body and get...nothing. i am excited though! (that doesnt get asked much though) i am ridiculously busy though goodness i don't know what it is but i somehow have a "pick me to throw your bridal shower" sticker on my back or something i have done two within weeks of each other...please no more friends get engaged i cant take the baking of anymore goods. actually im semi being dramatic they both were wonderful and both so ridiculously opposite one was harry potter themed (way fun definitely won in my book) and the other was very bridal showery.....if thats a thing. along with all the bridal showers i have worked ridiculous amounts and babysat. gosh im going to miss babysitting the crazy niece and nephew along with the two sassy girls and the most entertaining brother sister combo ever....BUT im excited to go to UTAH yayyayayayayyayay steph here i come!

it was one of those nights when i didn't want to do anything...like anything i should have been doing a lot of things but i just couldnt get motivated to do anything and before i knew it i had watched 3 hours of hart of dixie (i was behind on the show....not that it makes it better) and after it was finished i was disappointed not in the show but in the fact that i literally sat for 3 hours doing mindless crap. there has been a lot on my mind lately with my move and all (yay for change i need out of this place!) and also with people....i have been thinking a lot lately on if i would be truly content with my life if i died tomorrow...i know yikes thats super depressing and what not but it has been a good re-evaluating moment. I like everyone am not perfect i've done so many things i wish i hadn't but from all my mistakes i have learned so many things. i know that all the tests and trials that i've had and will have in my life are what i need to be shaped into the person that i need to be even if its terrible. and i'm grateful for that knowledge! so this post is a reminder to myself that i need to not be so grumpy during tests and trials because they will end and i will hopefully learn my lesson so i dont have to do it again;)

why is it that i can never keep my room clean when i have a boyfriend? its like the boyfriend curse i never seem to have a clean room BUT when you have a boyfriend that leaves you to be all scholarie i get some time to clean my room....sadly that is the only thing that is good about having a boyfriend that leaves for school. I truly hate the long distanceness that i have to endure........ my advice is don't do it for reals. So to get over my missing my lover i looked at pictures of us/him and i found some keepers sadly they made me miss him more.

The rumors are true...

this boy of mine has never been to a formal dance (say what?!?!) i didn't believe it myself but after he explained that i was always taken through out high school and he never wanted to ask anyone else;) JUST KIDDING the real story is that he was lame and was terrified of girls so he never went to dances. but now he can say that he has taken a girl to a formal dance one less thing to check off his bucket list;) it was a lot of fun to be there together (like that phrase?) but it was a terrible dance i felt bad for breaking his 'never been to a formal dance' with a terrible one. the music was ATROCIOUS and who the heck is this 'call me maybe girl' by the way the worse song ever i would rather listen to kidsbop than that business but what do i know. there was always rumors that pullman people did awful when it came to music djing and im sad to report the rumors are true sorry pullman maybe someday.

Yes i know i have an extremely attractive boyfriend i'm the luckiest!

Easter!

Easter was filled with for too many sweets, a lovely afternoon walk, the biggest decision of Andrew and I's life and soooo much more. It truly was a great day!

ummm how cute are these two? seriously they make me so happy I love having such a fun niece and nephew!

wednesday was such a fun day andrew decided to kidnap me and take me to lewiston to enjoy some much needed sonic fix! it was a lot of fun after our sonic we headed in search of a park the only one i could think of and well the only one that i knew how to get to happened to be a state park that required moola to enter LAME. so we asked the handy rebecca aka the gps where a park was and ended up at the beachview park....which dont let it fool you has a baby size beach but it has a lovely walking path. so naturally we walked it and saw ridiculous amounts of squirrels. we also ran into a sweet older couple that were feeding the squirrels peanuts and ended up with a handful of peanuts ourselves. and since we had peanuts of course we had to feed the squirrels by seeing how closely they could get to us...and what we found out is apparently those squirrels are not afraid of humans. it was a lot of fun just being together it could have been a little more warmer for my liking but i couldn't complain to much i got a video of me feeding a squirrel:)

my weekend was exactly what i needed and than some! we headed over to my cousins wedding which was oddly a lot of fun...we got there and while my momma headed into the temple andrew and i walked (me in heels) 5 blocks to feed him...it was very important i had to take one for the team because you see hungry andrew is not a pretty site he gets grumpier than myself and it was the day i was also going to be introducing him to all my family (he has officially met everyone yes folks EVERYONE well family related) and so this sandwich walking in heels was necessary. after he ate we waited for the bride and groom to come out which took a half hour..andrew is convinced they were playing fooseball hahahah. we than took millions of pictures in the cold and than we headed to the best place ever. for our patience and being amazing my mom rewarded andrew and i with milkshakes from the best milkshake place ever put on this planet. if you are ever in the Walla Walla area seriously get a milkshake at Ice-Burg so delicious (i recommend mint chocolate chip)

after we ate our deliciousness we headed over to the wedding reception. ok so first of all it was in the cutest resturant ever i have a serious weakness for brick and the whole thing was brick it was wonderful. we also go to take pictures with props which they used to make a guest book it was a lot of fun. and than andrew and i danced the night away he really knows how to entertain me. as well as get down that boy likes to dance around i had to keep him in line so he didn't kill a poor child with his fist pumps. 

my mom had andrew and i recreate the photobooth to send to garrett and i look all sweaty and gross since i had been rocking out for the past hour with andrew but hey i  can make sacrifices if its for my brother. 

yesterday it snowed....like snow snowed 3 inches of grossness yeah yeah its suppose to be spring and according my mom this is 'normal' spring weather well let me tell you i hated every minute of it. so in protest i wore coral pants and rocked them like it was 60 degrees outside. it was glorious and i felt like i stuck it to the man or i guess in this case the woman mother nature herself.  and when andrew came over the first thing he said was "you wore your pants" after which i gave him the confused look and than i confirmed in my head all of the following questions you might have.......firstly yes i wear pants around the kid and secondly yes i wear my own pants not others ahaha we joked around about that statement for a good 10 mins than it got old so we made a delicious dessert (slightly random but i didn't know how to ease into it)

yesterday i realized im crazy in love with my boy...like ridiculous amounts i had the afternoon to myself because he is lamely sickly and so my meow face and i hung out with each other and dont get me wrong i love my meow face BUT i sure do love my mister berglund man more. so while i was away from him i looked at wedding blogs it was marvelous:)

he clearly isn't amused by me taking pictures with him. 

sometimes i forget about my little camera that i take with me everywhere....and by forget i mean that i have pictures on it not to use it of course. this morning i decided to upload some of the pictures i had on the little guy. all consisting of the fun weekend i had with my lover pants!

there is something about my kitty meow that no one can not like him. its a proven fact that if you hate cats all you need to do is let this little guy love on you.....

first of all he is just so dang fluffy and cute and he sleeps like a sprawled out baby. i for a long time thought i was the only one who shared such love for the little guy until exhibit A came into the picture.....

now my lover pants wasnt a fan of kitties it might be the fact that he is semi allergic but we will pretend like he's not just for kicks. but he has always been a dog lover and could care less that all of their cats they ever got had been eaten by coyotes...still sad about that story. but let me tell you folks my kitty has won over my lover pants and now they bond all the time (mister cricket loves to snuggle)

weekend love

saturday lover boy and i headed over to lovely spokanie where we roamed downtown hand in hand and then headed to lovely shops of delightful things. we then headed to the lovely coeur d alene resort where we walked around until we had seen all the ducks and geese one could want to. then we ventured to a wedding reception that made us super thirsty (salty chicken wings is the prediction) there we reminisced with the lovely bride and groom and then headed back home where we watched a bugs life. it was a wonderful much needed weekend where we got to enjoy each others company.

wedding reception pictures are TERRIBLE because there was zero light in that happening party AND i only brought in my touch so that meant zero flash...but hey i got pictures;) 

DIY pore strips = face ripping off

yesterday i had some free time where i decided to browse the endless lands of the internet where i found this terrible website. i decided that it look safe enough and boy was i wrong it was seriously the most painful thing in the world to take off and of course your face will be smooth because it takes every ounce of hair off your face. it is definitely not something you put on all of your face unless you enjoy a lot of hair loss (including eyebrows) and ridiculous amounts of pain.

i don't have a clue what is wrong with me lately but holy grouchiness. i have never been so irritated on so many occasions its slightly ridiculous really. it all started when my main squeeze would just tell me what i wanted to hear you know i knew that he was and he admitted that he was and ahhh i hate when people just tell me what i want to hear because honestly that is stupid why would you do that....well because you want the other person to be happy of course and im sure this trick would work on every girl BUT me....he sadly learned after the silent treatment with a hint of a glare was incorporated. then it just continued downhill from there he got mad that i was never happy with his answers and if he answered either way i got mad...slightly true but only because i thought he was still playing his stupid answer to make me happy game (now im just venting again YIKES!) and then it explode in a giant bomb playing games and he let someone win which i am not a fan of either...moral of the story someone has been in the dog house for very stupid reasons. and you know whats annoying is that i realize that its stupid im getting annoyed/irritated way to late so late that we are already past the third grade stage of im not talking to you anymore off to ignoring that it even happened. and it made me realize that honestly its not worth it i care so much for this boy and i dont want it to be like this that i need to seriously grow up and just let him answer the way he thinks i want it to be answered and just smile because that is who he is and accept the fact that he is a nice guy and will let someone win just because if he didnt they would have had a ridiculous amount of cards in their hands and you know its a stupid game.

moral of the story: im a competitive little boy that isn't a fan of people that give me what i want with out me deserving it. BUT i will change i have written out for the whole blogging world to see and folks that is the first step to fixing a problem right? right!

we've been slacking hard core on these parts of the blog....meaning sadly me i guess i should take all the blame. i have been busy though. but mostly i have been hanging out with my man answering endless amounts of marriage questions (oddly fun) and hanging out with my two crazy relations creatures (aka niece and nephew) they are pretty humorous though. they are all about telling me crazy stories about monsters and dinosaurs.....and if anyone goes missing its from the monster that came out of baileys tummy just so you know;)

Caiden was all about the videos and kept asking me to video tape him again ahahah he's such a goof. 

Happy Birthday my love!

it was my favorite persons birthday on thursday! i babysat my niece and nephew who of course adore him so they had to contribute to his present by drawing angry tigers and caterpillars. we had just finished wrapping his present when he surprised us oddly with is presence (usually on your own birthday its the other way around) we then played until he got in trouble for not being at work hahaha. i think i'm the happiest person that he was born because if he wasn't it would be a terribly sad day without my other half.

last night i felt gloriously important even though i wasn't i just had a pass that important people get so that you can go anywhere for jazz fest. I mean anywhere i was up in the artist business and eating delicious foods and drinking sparkling water that was fit for a queen. ok i'm slightly exaggerating i did get to eat delicious food and drink water though annnnnnd i was in touching distance of the artist but i never got in their business. since i'm dating such a high roller (exaggerating again his mom is the big shot in jazz fest) we got passes to the sky box which is awesome we had comfy chairs and got to relax and drink beverages and eat huckleberry cheesecake with out anyone getting mad it was glorious. we also were dressed all fancy like it was a lot of fun and i don't even like jazz.

Presidents day weekend

My Presidents day weekend consisted of ridiculous amounts of unhealthy food (new love grilled cheese with a fried egg...sounds repulsive but super delicious) i ate so many chicken wings it was sickening but they were so delicious and i normally hate chicken wings. our group of 4 headed up on friday to stay the night at the Patten abode and wake up early to go to the temple for baptisms....at 8:30 AM. so you might question why so early and you know we did the same thing when we woke up hahaha but we figured we would get done and have plenty of time to browse around spokompton and that we did. we hit up costco where we ate unhealthy pizza slices and hot dogs and got a huge bag of chicken wings and then we headed over to this russian store that was in such a sketch part of spokane but we lived.....and brought home the best cake i have EVER had seriously delicious it wasn't super sweet but it was so moist ahhh and had the best flavor i was in heaven. And lastly you can't have a presidents day unless you try something new......well maybe you can BUT it was the day i wore red lipstick for the first time and the verdict is still out (my mom and andrew are not a fan.....as for everyone at work and liz it was a success)

soooo this boy of mine is full of surprises.....yesterday he gave me my valentines present that he hadn't forgotten it just hadn't come in the mail hahaha. he slyly put it in between cushions on the couch so that when we were reading scriptures together i would notice it but i was clueless hahaha. he got me the second season of modern family as well as my favorite part he wrote down 10 things he loved about me....he is a keeper:) i am such a lucky girl to have him in my life

i have always not been a fan of valentines day mainly because i feel that flowers are a waste of money and chocolate is gross. so its never been my cup of tea. but andrew made me rethink my hatred. we had a very low key valentines and it was amazing. i put together a cheesy love letter telling our whole story and cut it up into a puzzle pieces that he had to put together. he is a huge fan of puzzles and i am a huge fan of him so it was perfect:)  he also got me something but he forgot it hahahaha i love him so much and i love seeing him everyday:) 

Last night the little boy inside of me came out....we played bomberman with our favorite couple friends liz and austin. which sound innocent and all but we were on opposite teams of our lovers so liz and andrew were on a team and austin and i and things got a little competitive. andrew definitely got in the dog house for killing me non stop and never letting me live. it was terribly ridiculous how competitive i can really be. andrew hurried and switched the activities before i really started to hate him and we ended the night with the goofy movie. i will miss these couples nights when we all move to different areas:(

i adore this sweet little girl. she has such a darling personality i love that she finds it so fun to watch me put make up on and have me paint her nails she is a true girl!

last night i realized one of two things breakfast for dinner isnt half as bad as i liked to think and that i am so not a night person. andrew got whisked away around dinner time to take ladders to the stake center for projectors for the dance that he was going to make me go to....and ok its not that i dont like dances its that i dont like dances that are formal but i was going to be a good sport and go so while he was doing his ladder duties i was getting ready....until he called me and said he was just going to cut his hair tonight and not go to the dance which was a happy moment needless to say. so we headed to his house where his dad and i turned into little breakfast baker bees. i made french toast while his dad made eggs and bacon and it was delicious. after dinner we played a game on the wii and after winning we rewarded ourselves with gogurts (andrews all about the reward system that is always involved with food....he knows my weakness) and then we watched the devil wears prada which i semi forgot had so many girls getting dressed parts in it....but we survived!

i decided i better blog about the engagement photos i took or i would forget about it and it would be months before i got around to it.  i wish the weather wasn't so dreary but i got a few that i really liked. it was actually a lot of fun shooting these two lots of jokes and laughter were involved.
